사직구장, 프로야구 최초 내.야 전좌석 지정제 실시

(접이식 교체, 가족석/테이블석 신설 등 총 14,499석)
(Exciting Zone 신설, 생동강 넘치는 경기 관람 가능)

롯데자이언츠(代表理事朴珍雄)는 오늘(12/23) 2009 시즌부터 사직구장을 찾는 관중들의 쾌적한 관람환경과 선진 관람문화 형성에 앞장서고자 한국 프로야구 사상 최초로 내야 전좌석 지정제 및 특별좌석제 도입을 확정했다.

총 16억원의 공사비가 투입되는 이번 공사는 기존 1ㆍ3루측 지정석 및 일반석 14,656석을 모두 팔걸이 접이식으로 변경하며 일반석 13,323석, 테이블석 484석, 가족석 고정식 72석, 가족석 회전식 56석, 2인용 테이블 66석, 3인용 테이블석 110석, 4인 가족 테이블석 12석, 5인 가족 테이블석 16석, 그라운드석 의자(Exciting Zone) 564석 신설 등 총 14,499석이 변경된다.

롯데자이언츠는 지정좌석제 도입으로 입장권 예매 활성화와 더불어 타지역 관객 유입의 활성화와 별도 관람 상품 개발도 가능하게 되었다. 또한 자리잡기 문화를 혁파해 선진 관람문화 형성에 한걸음 더 다가가게 되었다.

이 중 국내 프로야구 최초로 도입되는 익사이팅 존(Exciting Zone)은 기존 투수 불펜에 위치하게 되어 보다 생동감 넘치는 경기 관람이 가능하게 되었다. 그물망이 없고 선수들을 보다 가까이 볼 수 있는 큰 장점이 있어 향후 당구단은 네이밍 마케팅 수단으로 활용할 예정이다. 익사이팅 존은 일본의 도쿄돔과 유사한 형태로 입장관중에게는 안전을 위해 헬멧과 글러브를 대여할 예정이다. 한편 기존 실외 투수 불펜은 외야석이 있는 실내 불펜으로 이전한다.
